Haruka, an ordinary office worker, grapples with both professional setbacks and romantic turmoil due to her constantly serious face. Feared by colleagues and dumped for being unreadable, she finds solace in the one person who seems to penetrate her facade—her boss, Tachibana. Their paths intertwine further when they are assigned to collaborate on a project. Tachibana, with his uncanny ability to decipher her emotions, playfully warns Haruka, "Don't let yourself fall too hard for me while working together." Haruka is left bewildered by Tachibana's perceptiveness. Could he read her mind?! Why does he see through everything?!
