Regretful Oppressors

The protagonist decides to take a stand for themselves, whether by changing, running away, or fighting back, and their oppressor, whether a family member or a lover, deeply regrets what they put the protagonist through.

Criteria to meet the list:
  • The protagonist must have been oppressed, isolated, bullied, or ignored.
  • There must be an oppressor who has oppressed the protagonist, and they must be regretful about it.
  • Both the oppression and the accompanying regret needs to be key aspects of the plot, not throwaway narration buried in a flashback.
  • If the protagonist is a transmigrator, they don't need personally experience it, but it needs to have happened prior to their transmigration.
